Description
The rear left corner of a window launching machine, Mk 1a, fully loaded with bundles of window strips, with the motor and winding unit removed. This equipment was constructed by personnel of 199 Squadron, RAF, and was used operationally from 1945 as a countermeasure against German radar. The machine was designed by 424778 Flight Lieutenant Charles Joseph Merryfull, RAAF.
