Description
An Armoured Personnel Carrier from A Squadron (Sqn), 3 Cavalry Regiment. Three vehicles from A Sqn, were individually named Blood, Sweat, & Tears II. & Tears II has suffered blast damage from a mine. The drive sprocket and the first road wheel have been blown off and the track links have been broken. The vehicle was recovered and is seen here back at 1 Australian Task Force Base. The sponson armour, (visible above the first, second and third road wheel stations), probably saved the driver from death or serious injury. The call sign is three one alpha (31A) and the blue triangle is the symbol for A Sqn. The road runner cartoon is also visible in the top left corner of the hull.
