Description
The Commander of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF), 3210 Brigadier William George Henderson, joins officers and men of B Squadron, 3 Cavalry Regiment, in singing hymns at a memorial service for 219663 Trooper David Gerard Doyle who was accidentally killed in Phuoc Tuy Province on 31 July 1970. Attending the inter-denominational service are about 140 men, many of whom have been briefly relieved of operational commitments so that they could return to the 1ATF base for the commemoration of their fallen comrade.
