History / Summary

This fan was sent home to Australia by NX700384 Captain Colin Grant Hann. He was born in Moree, NSW in July 1920 and enlisted in the AIF on 4 June 1943. He was discharged on 21 February 1946 from the Australian & New Guinea Administrative Unit (ANGAU). However, from the evidence of the fan it appears he spent some time in Korea and Japan with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force, working with the British Commonwealth Broadcasting Unit.
