Sweetheart brooch : 1 Australian Corps of Signals
Description
Rising Sun badge flanked by an Emu and a Kangaroo set above a boomerang. The Rising Sun badge is enameled red behind the King's crown and blue behind the lettering on the scroll which reads, 'AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES'. Positioned above the crown is a small enameled colour patch of 1 Australian Corps of Signals, consisting of rectangular patch of half white over pale blue which is centered over a purple triangle with a grey border. There is a broach pin fastening on the back of the brooch and a stamped impression, 'S SIL'.
