Pair of hat badges : Queensland Mounted Infantry
Description
Two circular brass badges in the form of a garter surmounted by a Queen Victoria crown. The garter is inscribed 'QUEENSLAND MOUNTED INFANTRY'. Surrounded by the garter is a voided cross with five stars representing the Southern Cross. Visible through the voids of the cross is maroon fabric backing. The back of each badge are two horizontally aligned lugs which hold in place a brass wire split pin
