Description

A Centurion Mk V/1 tank, crossing a bridge which has been layed by a Centurion bridge layer just south of Xuyen Moc, Phuoc Tuy Province. As crossing the dry river bed seemed to be a bit risky, troop leader 4718905 2nd Lieutenant Chris Sweeney suggested that the bridge could be laid over the remains of the destroyed bridge. The commander of the bridge layer, Sergeant Nicholls, 1 Armoured Regiment, laid the bridge and the troop of vehicles made the crossing. The bridge was recovered from the other side and the armoured troop continued on their way.
