Sweetheart locket : RAAF
Description
Heart-shaped rose gold sweetheart locket with a raised enamelled RAAF emblem on the front and 'TO LORNA WITH LOVE FROM GEOFF 30.1.42' engraved on the reverse. Below this is impressed, 9C SIL. LD. AL'. The locket opens at the suspender ring which has a small suspender attached. Inside the locket is a rose gold-framed piece of plastic, behind which would sit a small photograph. There is no chain.
