Description
Manuscript entitled 'Preserving a memory: Thomas Edmund Duffy'. Manuscript details the First World War service of Thomas Edmund Duffy of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the lead up to the Gallipoli Campaign, and his service with the 1st Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers during the Gallipoli Campaign. The experiences of Duffy in training and serving in the RFC are also detailed. The Second World War Service of Thomas Duffy in the RAAF is only briefly touched on. Seven appendices are included providing additional information relating to the units Duffy served with and the conservation of items relating to the service of Thomas Duffy.
