The artists acknowledge the extraordinary generosity of Col. Humphreys and his Kandahar unit. Colonel Humphreys is depicted standing inside his Chinook. Lower panel is a drapery study, top panel is the head. The 2 paintings can be placed one above the other, they may also be exhibited separately.
