Night barrage, Corbie
Description
Sketch of shelling and bombing at Corbie. There are trees in the foreground of the sketch. The sketch was probably made by Streeton in woods just outside Corbie. This sketchbook is from Streeton's first official war artist commission to France 14 May-13 August 1918 where he worked mainly around the Somme battlefields. The following pages five are blank with two loose.
