Description
"My Army Days" by Private Clive Riches (VX60408, 2/26 Australian Infantry Battalion). First drafted to Singapore and then captured as a P.O.W. Taken to Changi and then to work in Singapore. Private Riches was involved in building a Japanese shrine at Bukit Timah. He was sent back to Changi and spent time in hospital with eye troubles. On the 'P' Party which worked in Singapore. When the war ended, went home on the hospital ship 'Oranje'.
