"Per Ardua Dis Aster 1938/1946". Memoirs detailing training for the RAAF (12 Squadron) in 1938. Spent time in Laverton then Darwin before being posted to the 75 Fighter Squadron at Cape Gloucester, Port Moresby. He was then sent to New Guinea, the Dutch East Indies and Tarakan, Borneo before receiving the Movement Order for his return home. Includes information about airborne weapons in the Southwest Pacific.
