Description

Notebook (and transcript) consisting of 9 handwritten poems composed by 909 Sgt Lawrence Stanley Vivian Moss while on service in France, during the First World War. The poems are titled "The Duckboard Track to Paschendale" [Passchendaele], "The Duckboard Handicap", "One of the First", "The Mess at Henencourt", "The Babblers", "N.C.O.'s as Leaders", "A Windy Tale", "Flowers from Home", and "The Fifth".
