Wedding portrait of Charles Owen John Scafe and Carmel Warmsley, probably at Rockhampton, Queensland. Charles Scafe is wearing his Second World War RAAF uniform and ribbons, along with his Korean War ribbons. Scafe served in three wars. A18006 (435097) Warrant Officer Scafe served with 466 Squadron during the Second World War, and was a prisoner of war (POW) at Stalag Luft IVb, Germany. During the Korean War 1967 Private Scafe served with the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), from January 1953 to January 1954. Warrant Officer Class 2 Scafe served as Flight Operations Officer with 161 (Independent) Reconnaissance Flight in the Vietnam War, from September 1965 to September 1966.
