Studio portrait of 136 Private (Pte) Peter Hart Jacobson, 25th Battalion, of Ayr, Qld. A labourer prior to enlistment, Pte Jacobson embarked with A Company from Brisbane on HMAT Aeneas on 29 June 1915. On 29 July 1916 he was killed in action at Pozieres, France, aged 20. Pte Jacobson has no known grave and is commemorated on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial, France.
