Untitled memoir by Joseph Dunbaven (QX20125 , Driver, 2/3 Reserve Motor Transport Company). Details the experiences of the author from 9th April 1941 through his experiences of transport to Singapore, experiences as a POW on the Thailand-Burma Railway through to the cessation of hostilites. Internment began at the "Bicycle Camp" before being shipped to Malaya to work on the railway. The author's experiences of work, medical treatment and life are detailed for the period from capture to August 1945 when the camp was liberated. The author's experiences of treatment after liberation and emotions on returning to Australia are also described.
