Description
Collection relating to photographer Sean Hobbs' commission in 2007 to document Australian Defence Force members in Iraq (Operation Catalyst) and Afghanistan (Operation Slipper). The collection consists of an Official Australian passport, issued on 19 January 2007, expiry on 30 October 2007, used by Hobbs during his commission. Hobbs was the first Official Australian War Memorial photographer to be embedded with Australian troops in Afghanistan. He travelled with collaborative Melbourne artists Charles Green and Lyndell Brown.
