Description
Souvenir program from a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a performance of Mendelssohn's oratorio 'Ellijah' by the Royal Choral Society at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 27 October 1917. The performance was accompanied by a full chorus and orchestra with H L Balfour as the accompanying organist. Soloists were Ruth Vincent, Florence Taylor, Ben Davies and Thorpe Bates.
