Bound and typed manuscript written by 62649 Sgt Charles Donald (Don) Everitt. Compiled from Station Records and the memoirs of those that were involved at No. 45 Radar Station. The Station was set up in 1942 on Stanley Island, an island in the Flinders Group located in Princess Charlotte Bay, North Queensland. This manuscript recounts how the Station was set up, anecdotes from the period as well as details of the 1943 cyclone and its aftermath. Photos, copies of original documents and a map are included in the back.
