Studio portrait of 723 Private Owen Murray (also known as Owen Keith Murray), 1st Battalion of Parramatta, NSW. An architect prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard the HMAT Afric (A19) on 18 October 1914. He was killed in action at Gallipoli, Turkey on 20 May 1915, aged 21. He is buried in Shrapnel Valley Cemetery, Anzac, Turkey.
