Studio portrait of 3325A Private Thomas Harrison 4th (later 60th) Battalion of Liverpool, NSW. A salesman prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Benalla (A24) on 1 May 1916. Pte Cloke was wounded in action on 19 July 1916 in the trenches at Fromelles, France. He was repatriated to England and admitted to the War Hospital, Epsom, England, for treatment. He died of his wounds, in hospital, on 28 July 1916, aged 22. He is buried in the Epsom Cemetery, United Kingdom.
