Studio portrait of Second Lieutenant George Herbert Todd, MM and Bar, 1st Field Artillery Brigade. Sergeant Todd was awarded the Military Medal in October 1916 and the Bar to the Military Medal in November 1917. He was selected to attend the Artillery Cadet School and promoted to 2nd Lt in December 1917 and promoted to Lieutenant in August 1918. Lt Todd left England for Australia on 23 October 1918.
