Night vision studies xvi
Description
This small green deeply saturated painting conveys the uncertainty surrounding the Australians' night patrols, the realisation that the unknown is always there, just beyond the edge of their vision. These soldiers are overwhelmed by the vast landscape and yet, appearing as small glowing outlines, they are a conspicuous presence in an alien land.
