Studio portrait of NX39410 Gunner (Gnr) Edward Michael John O'Neill, 2/4 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, RAA, of Taralga, NSW. He enlisted from Paddington on 23 July 1941. Gnr O'Neill was killed in action in New Guinea on 24 September 1943, aged 23. Gnr O'Neill is buried at the Lae War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea.
