[Cityscape]
Description
Sketch of a cityscape with a river in the foreground and barges full of people onboard. This could possibly be some sort of victory celebration towards the end of the First World War. The city is possibly Boulogne as it bears a similarity to ART12630. Boulogne was one of the three base ports most extensively used by the Commonwealth armies on the Western Front throughout the First World War.
Purchased with the assistance of the Australian Government through the National Cultural Heritage Account, 2007
