Whitelaw MM, Ivan Cecil (Corporal, b.1894 - d.1918)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 2910 Corporal Ivan Cecil Whitelaw MM, Australian Imperial Force. Collection consists of a note written by Chaplain Henry Arthur Hayden detailing the manner of death of Whitelaw during an attack on Meteren during the night of 23-24 April 1918 and his place of burial. Whitelaw served with the 12th Battalion, and was awarded the Military Medal on 18 July 1917.
