Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 2811 Private Eric Mostyn Thomson, 59th Battalion, AIF. Collection consists of 3 typed copies of letters written by Pte Thomson to his mother, in November and December 1915. The letters describe activities on the transport ship [Ulysses] and Pte Thompson details the differences between this ship he was on and the HMAS Australia on which his brother Able Seaman William H Thompson, was a crew member. Pte Thompson also dscribes what life was like in Fietoun camp.
