Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX13991 Lieutenant Garth Sarsfield Massy-Greene, 2/8 Light Anti Aircraft Battery, 2 Australian Infantry Force. Collection consists of: 25 letters written by Lt Massy-Greene to his mother, one including a copy of the Tobruk Truth, and another which includes photographs; a letter from Lt Massy-Greene to his father, a letter to a Mr James written Lt Massy-Greene; a letter written by Lt Massy-Greene to Pte SX32141 Arthur John Elphick; one letter written by Brian Massy-Greene, Lt Massy-Greene brother; 4 telegrams sent to Lt Massy-Greene; Pa postcard made from cigarette box sent to Mrs Lomase, Lt Massy-Greene Grandmother; a journal kept by Lt Massy-Greene giving an account of the departure from Tobruk; Special order by Brigadier JN Slater MC; and a document entitled 'The AA Defence of Tobruch [sic] Fortress'.
