Informal group portrait of Second AIF members, possibly of the 2/3 Australian Flash Spotting Battery, Royal Australian Artillery on leave. Identified left to right, NX22854 Kevin Joseph Filan; unidentified; NX30556 Alan Henry Rimes; NX15932 Darcey Denman Croft; SX12132 Peter Jackman; Griffin ( (possibly J C 'Wolf' Griffin ?NX55254 John Charles Henry Griffin) and unidentified. Sgt Croft served initially with 2/1 Survey Regiment and B Troop, 2/3 Flash Spotting Battery. Prior to enlistment he had three years experience with Hall and Company photographers, to March 1940.
