A postcard sent to her mother by Sister Lucy Kathleen Boughton, Convalescent Depot, Harefield. The message on the back reads " 25/4/16. Dear Mother, Just a little bit in Harefield after the snow. Today is Anzac Day and all the boys who are able are going. There will be a service in Westminster Abbey and a matinee in the afternoon. whn Mr Hughes will speak. I hope to see the procession but some of the sisters are going to both. General Birdwood was down there yesterday. He is a great favourite with the boys. Love to all, L K B." Sister Boughton embarked from Sydney aboard RMS Mooltan on 15 May 1915 and returned to Australia on 22 August 1919.
