Description
Typed manuscript detailing the First World War service of 5454 Private Henry Wadds Stork and his brother 5455 Private Richard Stork, who enlisted in 1916. The manuscript consists of a transcript of Henry's diary, supported by further documentation compiled by Henry's daughter, Margaret Bickle AO. The brothers both served with the 56 Battalion. Richard Stork was killed in action in 1916 and Henry was honourably discharged in 1918.
