Paybook photograph of 52103 Private (Pte) Arthur John Scurry, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). A resident of South Perth, WA, prior to enlistment, Pte Scurry commenced service in Korea on 19 July 1952. Following a raid to capture a Chinese prisoner, Pte Scurry was reported assumed missing, presumed killed in action on or after 25 January 1953, aged 20. He is commemorated on Wall 2 in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Korea.
