Manuscript titled 'Boer War Service A.G. Adie, 22/10/1899-23/6/1902', detailing the service of Captain-Adjutant Alfred George Adie. Includes photographs, maps, excerpts of official documents and excerpts from Len Harvey's book 'Letters from the Veldt.' Adie served with 1 (Queensland Mounted Infantry) Contingent and 6 (Queensland Imperial Bushmen) Contingent. He was wounded at Sunnyside. Adie was awarded the Queen's South Africa Medal and 5 clasps as well as the King's South African Medal and 2 clasps.
