Description

Collection related to the First World War service of 1105 Trooper Robert Keith Slade, 4th Light Horse Machine Gun Squadron. Collection contains a diary written by Slade between 11 August 1917 and 31 December 1918 and a typed transcript of the diary plus a certificate of discharge and a article taken from a school magazine in 1937 regarding the death of Keith Robert Slade. Also included in the collection are two photo albums: one small black bound album containing photos taken between 1916-1918 and one brown bound album with photos taken between 1918-1919. These albums contain images taken by Tpr Slade using a Kodak camera, now in the Memorial's collection. (See REL36118)
