"The Log Chapel. 2 Aust Corps HQ. 8/8/43". This image relates to the service of TX2042 Chaplain Richard Scarfe, Australian Army Chaplains' Department. Chaplain Scarfe served from late 1939 until July 1944, including with 2/32 Battalion throughout the Middle East. Personal and religious items belonging to Chaplain Scarfe are held at the Australian War Memorial.
