Description
Mrs Patricia Collins (nee Ashworth) and 400871 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Austin James Collins, air gunner, leave Sacred Heart Church, Sandringham, Victoria, following their wedding. The ceremony was officiated by Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Reverend John P Pierce. The groom and the Reverend had both recently returned from overseas service. Flt Sgt Collins was later posted to 22 Squadron RAAF and lost on operations in New Guinea on 1 June 1943.
