Studio portrait of 7032 Private (Pte) John Charles McDonald, 37th Battalion of Skipton, Victoria. A station overseer prior to enlistment on 1916, Pte McDonald embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Honorata (A20) on 18 November 1916. He was killed in action in France on 29 September 1918.
