23 page typescript manuscript relating to the Second World War service of VX133169 Lieutenant Elizabeth Elfrida Petherick (nee Retallack) 2/4 AGH Australian Army Nursing Service. Notes from an interview between P. Wright and E. Petherick. The manuscript covers the experiences of a nurse in the 2/4th AGH both in Australia and in Labuan. Lieutenant Rettallack's experiences of training in Australia and posting overseas are detailed, including incidents relating to other hospitals, servicemen, indigenous populations, and the patients in the 2/4th AGH. Additional notes relating to her post-war career are included, as are copies of poems written to Sister Rattallack by British patients.
