A Triangle of Love: Neville Davies, Edna Mathews and Esma Mathews
Description
Manuscript detailing the history of Lieutenant Neville Ambrose Davies (Service No. 1485) through typescript reproduction of original letters received and written by Neville Davies during the period of the First World War to his sweetheart - Edna Mathews at "Ferncourt" - Tighes Hill. The letters recount Davies's experiences of transport to England, training, serving in the trenches, and his experiences of life in the Army until his return to Australian in 1919. In an appendix are a limited number of letters from Edna written to the author. Copied and compiled by his two daughters - Audrey and Ailsa Davies (501 pages).
