20 page manuscript. The manuscript examines the nature of warfare in 1918 from the Allied perspective with particular focus on tactics, weaponry and casualties. Section one examines the tactics employed in 1918 and examines how they were develop through the war. Section 2 examines the weapons used by 1918 and how they had been developed and how their employment had been improved: Trench mortars, Heavy tanks, Field artillery and Medium Machine guns are examined in detail. Section three examines the nature of casualties during the First World War, with a focus on the nature of wounds caused and the nature of psychological casualties.
