Description
Collection of five letters relating to the Second World War service of VX33876 Private Frank Curr, 2/24 Battalion. All the letters are written by Frank Curr to Florence Aston, a close friend from Melbourne. Although not dated, they appear to have been written during 1940-1941 from 'at sea' and 'abroad'. The letters describe the voyage from Melbourne to Palestine, sightseeing, leave in Jerusalem, Florence's upcoming wedding, and conditions at home.
