"The destroyed bridge at Asluj 30 miles South from Shellal May 1917. We did the journey out and back over some very rough country destroying this and couple of smaller bridges and several miles of railway line constructed by the enemey in less than 33 hours. Was attached to party that destroyed this bridge and took photo myself".
