Tolley, Norman John (Private, b.1920 - d.1948)
Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of NX87621 Private Norman John Tolley, 2/2 Pioneer Battalion. Collection consists of eight letters written by Tolley to his brother Mick. The letters are general in nature with a few referring to fishing, and athletics. Several of the envelopes are illustrated by Clarrie King. Tolley returned home after the war and was killed in a fishing boat accident in 1948.
