Informal portrait of NX36330 Private (Pte) John Thomas Currie, 2/13 Battalion, and 'Curly' Higgins seated in front of their tent. Pte Currie enlisted in Wagga Wagga, NSW, on 12 July 1940, and served in the Middle East. He was discharged on 28 July 1944. 'Curly' Higgins has not been further identified.
