VDC 3 inch Mortar
Description
Improvised 3 inch mortar with bipod. The mortar consists of galvanized piping and was used for the purpose of discharging No. 63 smoke grenades approximately 190 meters. The propellant was an Aldershot grenade. A carry handle is welded to the top of the tube. This mortar was operated without a base plate. The mortar is in metal finish. There are no markings.
