Enamelled badge commemorating the first US aircraft to be shot down : North Vietnamese Forces
Description
Circular metal badge superimposed with an image of the North Vietnamese flag in red and a green laurel branch. The flag contains the words 'QUYET THANG'. Above the flag the numbers '5-8' are embossed and painted in red.

North Vietnamese Defence Forces enamelled badge commemorating the first US plane to be shot down over North Vietnam. Awarded to members of the North Vietnamese Defence Forces who actually shot down later US aircraft.
