Group portrait of male internees at the Loveday Internment Camp. The Loveday Internment Camp opened in 1941 and was comprised of four separate compounds. During its peak, the camp held over 5000 internees who produced goods and cultivated crops for the Australian war effort. Loveday Internment Camp closed in December 1946.
