Description
Japanese mechanical high speed mathematical calculator. Pinwheel type with rotating cursors. It is a development of an original design invented in 1873 by W. T. Odhner, a Swedish migrant to Russia. The Odhner type was the most common mechanical calculator until the mid 1960s, when electronic calculators became more widely available.
