Sister Edith Blake pours medicine for a patient in a ward at the No 17 General Hospital. Sister Edith Blake of San Souci, NSW, served with the Queen Alexandra Imperial Nursing Service and was killed when the hospital ship she was on, the HMHS Glenart Castle, was sunk by a German U-boat on 26 February 1918.
